Extra Charges On Statement

Extra charges listed on your credit card or payment processor statement may simply be a hold or an international bank charge, charged by your credit card company.

Authorized Hold

Credit card companies often issue what is called an "authorized hold" which can last 1-5 business days. If you see this extra charge soon after placing your order, please wait 1-5 business days to see if the hold disappears first. Sometimes this remains as "pending". If you still see this charge after 5 days, it may be something else.

International Bank Charges & Currency Conversion

Using a credit card or payment method that is in a currency other than USD or CAD, your credit card or bank may charge you a fee for shopping internationally. Sometimes bank/credit card processors charge an additional small fee for e-commerce or cross border transactions. In most cases you can negotiate or ask your bank to waive these fees.
