Foil balloons not packaged.

The Meaning Of the term "Flat"

"Flat" is a balloon industry term which means the balloon does not come packaged individually. This normally applies to Mylar/foil or similar balloons, but not latex balloons.  We store them "flat" at the warehouse in a stack with other balloons of the same design.  When you order flat mylfar/foil balloons we stack them together and place them in a bag to protect them.

Benefits of Flat Balloons

  1. Cost Effective. Unpackaged balloons are cheaper than packaged ones. Since we purchase them in bulk they cost less for us, and we pass those savings onto you.
  2. Increase Your Profit Margins. If you are a balloon decorator and will be inflating the balloon yourself (not displaying them in a retail shop) then you do not require the extra packaging and extra costs associated with it.
  3. cost Effective For Your Customers. If you are a balloon retailer and wish to have more competitive pricing, selling your Mylar/Foil balloons unpackaged would be a good way to go.
  4. Efficient Use Of Space. Packaged balloons require a display rack which can take up space. The flat/unpackaged balloons can be stored behind the counter stacked together. Just be sure to not overly crease or fold your flat Mylar/Foil balloons, as this may ruin the printed design. You may even want to hang one of each popular design on a wall for customers to see and choose, and have the rest of the flat/unpackaged balloons behind the counter.

Examples From Our Site

See areas circled in red.

You can see in the description on the left, that it mentions the balloon is "flat".  You can see on the right that under the packaging type, it says non-packaged.  This means the balloon will not come wrapped or ready to display on your display rack or shelf.

Here you can see there is no mention of the balloon being "flat", and under the packaging type, it lists the balloon as packaged.  This means the balloon can be displayed in your display rack or on a shelf for customers to handle it themselves.
